Man dies in auto-pedestrian crash near Manor, ATCEMS says

A man in his 60s died Saturday evening after an auto-pedestrian crash near Manor. It was the second fatal auto-ped crash ATCEMS crews have worked in 24 hours.

A man in his 60s died Saturday evening after an auto-pedestrian crash at Blake Manor Road and Cutback Drive near Manor, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

ATCEMS said it received the call about the crash at 8:23 p.m. with initial reports of CPR being performed on one adult patient.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, EMS said. No other patients were identified at the scene, according to ATCEMS.

EMS said to expect traffic delays in the area. Roads were shut down from Taylor Lane to Hamilton Point Circle as authorities investigated, according to Travis County Sheriff's Office.

DPS took over the investigation of the crash after it was determined fatal.

The crash was the second fatal auto-pedestrian incident in 24 hours after a man in his 20s died earlier Saturday morning in the 5300 block of Interstate 35.
