LIST: Central Texas delays, cancellations

Several schools and businesses are adjusting their schedules due to wintry weather.

With a winter advisory in effect for parts of Central Texas, several schools and businesses are either having delayed starts times or canceling classes for Thursday evening and Friday.

Those schools and businesses include:

Austin Can Academy: All classes canceled Friday

AESA Prep Academy: All classes canceled Friday

The Art Institute of Austin: Opens at 10 a.m.

Austin Community College: Classes and events canceled Thursday night. ACC campuses & centers will open at 10 a.m. Friday

Austin ISD: All classes canceled for Friday

Austin School for the Performing and Visual Arts: All classes canceled for Friday

Bastrop ISD: All classes canceled Friday

Caldwell County offices: Open at 10 a.m. Friday

City of Austin Offices and Facilities: All City of Austin offices and facilities will open at 10 a.m. Friday, including Municipal Courts and the Downtown Austin Community Court

Comal ISD: All campuses will be on a two-hour delay Friday. Start times tomorrow will be 9:40 a.m. for elementary and 10:45 a.m. for secondary. Buses will pick up students at their scheduled stops two hours later than usual.

Coupland ISD: Two-hour delay Friday

Del Valle ISD and Offices: All schools and offices closed Friday

Dime Box ISD: School will be delayed two hours tomorrow starting at 10 a.m. Buses will run two hours later than normal.

Eanes ISD: All schools closed Friday

Elgin ISD: All schools closed Friday

Giddings ISD: Schools will start on a two-hour delay Friday

Harmony Public Schools: All schools closed Friday

Hays CISD: Schools closed Friday

Huston Tillotson University: School will start on a two-hour delay Friday. Classes and operations will begin at 10 a.m.

KIPP Austin Public Schools: All schools and classes canceled Friday

Lexington ISD: Classes will begin at 10 a.m. Busses will run two hours late

Lockhart ISD: All schools closed Friday

Luling ISD: Classes will have delayed start at 10 a.m. Buses will run two hours later than their normal time.

Manor ISD: All schools closed Friday

New Braunfels ISD: Two hour delay. Employees are asked to arrive at regular time or as soon as they can.

Pflugerville ISD: Two-hour delay for Friday. Elementary classes will start at 9:40 a.m., middle school classes will start at 10:05 a.m. and high school classes will start at 11 a.m. Buses will operate their regular bus routes on a two-hour delay. The school day will end at the normal time.

Prairie Lea ISD: All schools closed Friday

San Marcos CISD: All San Marcos CISD campuses will be on a two-hour delay Friday. Bus schedules will also be on a two-hour delay.

Seminary of the Southwest: Campus will open at 10 a.m. on Friday

Smithville ISD: Two-hour delay Friday

St. Edwards University: Two-hour delay. Business and classes start at 10 a.m. Chariot shuttles start at 9 a.m.

Texas Commission on Environmental Quality: Main campus and regional offices will open at 10 a.m.

University of Texas: School opens at 10 a.m. Friday

Wayside Schools: All Wayside Schools campuses will be closed Friday

Wimberly ISD: Delayed start time for 10 a.m. Friday

YMCA: TownLake YMCA, Southwest Family YMCA, North Austin YMCA, Northwest Family YMCA, East Communities YMCA are opening at 8 a.m. on Friday. The Springs Family YMCA and Hays Communities YMCA will open at 9 a.m.
