H-E-B is recalling GTC halogen light bulbs because of fire and laceration hazards.

The bulbs were sold at H-E-B stores and online from August 2015 to December 2017.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, 14 light bulbs have shattered, causing damage to customers.

One person said he had a cut on his hand; another reported burns on his hand and cuts on his foot.

The CPSC recommends that consumers immediately stop using the recalled halogen light bulbs and return them to H-E-B for a full refund.

The CPSC says about 2.5 million bulbs are affected by the recall. GTC bulbs are packaged in red and blue boxes.

Consumers can contact H-E-B at 800-432-3113 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. CT Monday through Friday or online for more information
