Austin's largest array of solar panels now belongs to the University of Texas.
A ceremony was held Thursday marking the array's completion. It will supply enough electricity to power 42 homes for a year. It will also be used as an instructional opportunity for engineering students.
Funded by a grant, the project costs $1.6 million.
