Longhorns, Aggies fans take ACL Fest break to watch football

AUSTIN - Sorry music, the game is on and you're going to have to wait.

That's how over 100 University of Texas and Texas A&M fans looked as they watched their teams in the beer garden of the Austin City Limits Music Festival Saturday night.

Both games started around 6 p.m., and it didn't take long for the tent to fill with burnt orange and burgundy.

Huddled together, fans booed or cheered in unison at every call that did or didn't go in their favor.

Yes, those fans might have dropped over $100 on tickets, but football waits for no one.

It's not known yet whether or not the fans will disband for the headliners, set to take the stage at 8 p.m., or if they'll wait it out.
