Southeast Travis Co. murder-suicide
AUSTIN -- Travis County sheriff's deputies are investigating a suspicious death turned murder-suicide just south of the airport.
According to a Travis County Sheriff's Department spokesperson, a woman's body was found at a home at 6707 Creedmoor Drive, just east of Highway 183.
Investigators say a family member found the woman's body around noon Friday and called 911. The woman's name, age, and how she died have not been released.
Investigators later told KVUE News a second body presumed to be the woman's husband was also found Friday. They are now treating the case as a murder-suicide instead of a suspicious death.
Neighbors say the couple kept to themselves and did have children.
