School bus accident
AUSTIN -- Nine people were injured in an accident involving a school bus in Northeast Austin.
Roger Wade with the Travis County Sheriff's Office says it happened Wednesday morning on Highway 290 near Parmer Lane after a vehicle rear-ended a Manor Independent School District school bus. The bus was said to be carrying high school students.
Nine people were taken to St. David's Medical Center. No word yet on their conditions or whether they are students.
