LEANDER, Texas -- There's been a setback for the little boy from Leander who was attacked by a mountain lion in Big Bend National Park.

Rivers Hobbs, 6, is back in the hospital.

His mother Kristi tells KVUE News that her son was admitted Thursday after his facial wounds became infected.

The mountain lion attacked the little boy last Sunday night while he was walking with his family at the Chisos Mountain Lodge. His father stabbed the cat with a knife.

His mother says Rivers will need more surgery. He also began getting rabies shots this week.
