A model and a mixed martial arts fighter are the victims of an apparent murder-suicide. Police found their bodies late Sunday night in Northwest Austin.

In early August, 23-year-old Tiffanie Perry posted a picture on Facebook of herself and 26-year-old Kenneth Trevino, whom she called "Kenny." The next day Trevino attached the comment, "Thanks for always loving me."

But investigators say something recently changed.

On Sunday night police got a frantic phone call from Trevino's family.

"A relative from another part of Texas called saying that they had a relative here at this complex that was suicidal,” said APD Corporal Scott Perry.

The relative said Trevino was despondent over a recent breakup with Perry. When police arrived to his Northwest Austin apartment complex near McNeil Drive and FM 2222, it was too late.

"Both were deceased and had trauma to their body,” Perry said.

Trevino was a mixed martial arts fighter who went by the name "Italian Hit."

Perry was a body builder and model. On a website called Model Mayhem she describes herself as a full-time business student at Texas State University. She says “life is too fun to not laugh.”

Police are not releasing exactly how the two died and have not confirmed if it was in fact a murder suicide. However, they are calling it the 22nd homicide of the year.
