Hundreds enjoyed a slice of pie at the Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville at their fourth annual Peace Through Pie Social.
The pie social featured pies of all varieties, and they're featured in a contest, along with an auction, and of course, plenty of tasting.
"We're trying to keep the legacy alive," organizer Shirley Sterling Collins said. "You know, bringing everyone together, sitting down at the table of brotherhood, and that table just happens to have pie on it."
The pie social also included a recitation of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's, I Have a Dream speech.
