AUSTIN -- A woman is charged with assaulting a paramedic by punching her in the face and kicking her in the stomach.
Elizabeth Cole, 29, is charged with assault on a public servant, a third degree felony. According to her arrest affidavit, Cole was taken to an ambulance following a domestic disturbance call.
Once inside, Cole became combative and began punching then kicking the paramedic.
According to the affidavit, Cole also threatened to kill her.
The paramedic's injuries are not serious.
