AUSTIN -- A special Valentine's gift was delivered a little early Monday.
Thanks to modern technology, some of the young patients at Dell Children's Medical Center shared a little Valentine's fun with patients at the Heart Specialty Care and Transplant Center. Seton arranged the Skype hookup.
The kids made cards to share with the grown-ups across town.
Organizers say Monday's event gave both groups a big boost.
"A lot of these people are going through the same thing, just one's adults and one's kids," said Marcella Maxwell with Dell Children's Medical Center. "This Skype is able to bring them together so they can bond and say 'happy Valentine's Day' to each other."
The event went so well, they may do it again on other holidays.
