SCAM ALERT: Don't buy Garth Brooks tickets on Craigslist

After all of the tickets to Garth Brooks' SXSW show on Saturday were claimed within minutes, some people started selling tickets on Craigslist. But officials are warning people that those tickets will not get you into the concert.

According to SXSW officials, the email sent with the Garth Brooks tickets requires the owner to redeem the tickets with the ID linked to the information used to claim the tickets. This means that unless you have the seller's ID, you will not be able to purchase tickets and use them to get into the show.

A limited number of SXSW registrants and Music Festival wristband holders will be able to attend the show without tickets. Otherwise, we hope you were one of the lucky ones fast enough to snag one!
