An Australian tourist says it's a miracle she's still alive following a horrific accident.

Her bungee cord snapped during a New Year's Eve jump from a bridge over the Zambezi River on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia in Africa.

After falling the length of a football field, Erin Worth then had to swim through rapids with her feet still tied together. The 22-year-old said the rope got caught a few times, making the ordeal even scarier.

Worth was taken to a clinic in Zimbabwe and later evacuated to a hospital in South Africa with some bruises... and quite a story to tell.
