Austin has been named one of the top 25 travel destinations in the United States.
Travel website TripAdvisor announced the winners of its 2012 Travelers' Choice Destination Awards on Friday. The fourth annual awards honored 440 destinations in 37 markets around the world.
The awards are based on reviews and opinions from travelers who use TripAdvisor. Each city was chosen based on their popularity and ratings on the website.
