This is a memorial in honor of the slaves of La Amistad. The African American Heritage Museum is located at the corner of S Walnut Street and E Louisiana Avenue in a residential neighborhood in Hammond, LA. There are additional museums located in New Orleans, LA and Aurora, IL.
