San Antonio celebrates Elvis' birthday

Kids not old enough to even know who Elvis Presley was somehow managed to grow mutton chop sideburns on Sunday.

The King would have been celebrating his 77th birthday if he were still alive. And in San Antonio, the King of Rock & Roll would not have been celebrating alone.

Every year, fans gather at Chuy's restaurant at Northwoods on January 8 to celebrate the King's birthday. Along with all of the evergreen Elvis paraphernalia, the restaurant also had an Elvis birthday cake, T-shirts, inflatable guitars, a live performer and special prices on some the King's favorite dishes. And for those dressed as Elvis, or his better half Priscilla, the meal was free!

Telling by the photo collage of parties from years past, Elvis's birthday bash has grown roots at Chuy's. Some customers say they return every year to get a picture taken with the King (or someone that kind of looks, sounds and moves like the King).
