AUSTIN -- Cold weather didn't stop many Austinites from getting into the holiday spirit over the weekend, joining the tradition of decorating trees along Capital of Texas Highway for the holiday season.
KVUE caught up with a few people on Sunday hanging lights and ornaments, even putting presents under the trees.
"It's a little drizzly out, but there's not going to be many trees left soon, so we said we were going to do it anyway," said tree decorator Jenny Abraham. "So, I have my Barbie tree. This is kind of my thing, Barbie theme, and my daughter, Jade, is doing Hello Kitty theme."
Dozens of trees were decorated with different themes, and the public is invited to decorate the trees however they want.
