Sound on Sound Fest gates reopen

MCDADE, TEXAS - Festival organizers reopened the gates at Sound on Sound Fest Sunday afternoon after evacuating the grounds because of severe weather.

According to a release from festival organizers, officials made the decision after several warnings from the National Weather Service.

For two hours, festival-goers sought shelter in their cars and on the SOS shuttles while they waited for an update.

Organizers gave "The all clear at 5:08 p.m. on Twitter, and told people they would send out an updated concert schedule.
