Who is the most influential celebrity among kids?
It's Taylor Swift.
Eleven hundred kids between the ages of 8 and 18 were asked which celebrity has the most influence on what they want as a holiday gift.
Entertainer Taylor Swift topped the list, followed by Justin Bieber. This is according to a survey by San Francisco-based Ebates.com.
More boys picked Justin Bieber, and the girls picked Taylor Swift.
As for what gifts they want:
- a laptop computer (17%)
- the latest iPhone (15%)
- clothes (11%)
- a 10-inch tablet like the iPad or the Motorola Xoom (9%)
- the latest Android Smartphone (6%)
- the latest mini tablet (5%)
- e-Readers like the Nook and Kindle are wanted by 4% of youth.
