AUSTIN -- It's not as big as South by Southwest or the Austin City Limits Music Festival, but this year's Fun Fun Fun Fest added more than $27 million to the Austin economy.
According to the Austin Convention and Visitor's Bureau, more than 55,000 people attended the three-day event earlier this month. That's a 17 percent increase from 2011.
The festival started in Austin back in 2006. This year more than 160 artists performed.
