RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Richmond police say they've solved an 18-year-old double murder. Twenty-four-year-old David A. Jones and 22-year-old Eric Thomas Ellett were fatally shot inside a car in Richmond in August 1995. Cold case Detective Mark Williams used fingerprints found at the crime scene to find a witness who helped identify a suspect. He says the suspect was fatally shot three months after Jones and Ellett died.
