AUSTIN -- The red-headed stranger was on the red carpet over the weekend for South by Southwest. Willie Nelson was at the Paramount Theatre for the premiere of "When Angels Sing".
Nelson is a member of the star-studded cast, which also includes Harry Connick, Jr., Connie Britton and Lyle Lovett.
The movie is set in Austin and celebrates the music scene for which the city is famous.
"It's a good script and some friends of mine, Harry and Chris and everybody in the movie, we had a lot of fun doing it," said Nelson.
The movie features performances by Willie, Lovett, Guy Forsyth and Sara Hickman. There are also appearances by Bob Schneider and Ray Benson.
