Located in North Bastrop County and recognized as the Sausage Capital of Texas, Elgin's rich history is now highlighted in a new book.
It's titled "Images of America: Elgin" and was written by Sydna Davis Arbuckle and Judy Davis. The book was published by Arcadia Publishing. Sydna and Judy spoke to KVUE about it.
Sydna and Judy dedicate the book to their mother Nell Been Davis. All proceeds go to the Elgin Depot Museum.
