AUSTIN -- The initial lineup for the Moontower Comedy and Oddity Festival has been released, full of big names in comedy and, for the first time, international ones.
The fourth year of the festival will be held April 23-26. The Paramount Theatre announced Tuesday that comedians like Dennis Miller, Kids in the Hall, Demetri Martin, Colin Quinn and Miranda Sings are on the schedule to perform. Aziz Ansari from "Parks and Recreation" will also be returning to the festival.
Early Bird pricing was offered Tuesday at 8 a.m. for FAN, ACE and VIP badges. Once those are sold out, the Paramount says badges will increase in price. Go here to find out more.
Before the festival begins, Aziz Ansari will perform at a kick-off show at the Texas Performing Arts on Friday, April 18. Single tickets for his show go on sale Friday, Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. You can buy them here.
To close out the festival, Miranda Sings will perform on Sunday, April 27 at Stateside at the Paramount. Tickets are on sale here.
"If this 2014 early lineup is any indication, it's going to be another amazing year at Moontower," said Moontower Comedy & Oddity Festival CEO Jim Ritts. "We always try to bring audiences the top comics to watch and a little something new along with your favorite funny faces. And this year, we have expanded both our comic and oddities lineup to give you a new and wider range of reasons to laugh."
