AUSTIN -- Fun Fun Fun Fest officially returns to Austin in November, and early bird tickets are on sale just in time for Valentine's Day.
Organizers announced Tuesday that the ninth annual Fun Fun Fun Fest will be held at Auditorium Shores Nov. 7-9.
"We are very excited. Once the renovation plan was revealed, Auditorium Shores and the future of events there has been a hot topic in Austin. As a veteran user of this park, we are happy that we were able to come to an agreement with parks, neighbors, stakeholders, and city officials on a plan that our city leaders could get behind," said GM of Transmission Events Bobby Garza. "Today's announcement is further confirmation that our event is an important contributor to our growing creative and tourism economy."
Last year more than 65,000 music and comedy fans came to the festival. Performers included Slayer, MGMT, Ice-T, Sarah Silverman, Tenacious D and Patton Oswalt. See the recap video here.
On Feb. 12 the festival will start selling early bird tickets. Go here for more information.
