Austin is a place where something is always going on. Sometimes it's hard to figure out what fun events are taking place, so we're here to help.

Take a look at some of the things going on around town Friday, Jan. 24 through Sunday, Jan. 26:

Friday, Jan. 24:

Harlem Globetrotters 2014 "Fans Rule" World Tour. 7 p.m. at the Frank Erwin Center. These guys are super talented (and super tall). Check out our interview with them.

Le Garage Sale. DELAYED until 2 p.m. because of icy weather. The event lasts until 7 p.m. at the Palmer Events Center. Friday's temperatures felt like Christmas, so why not do some early shopping?

Alamo 100: "The Goonies." 11:59 p.m. at Alamo Drafthouse Ritz. Escape the cold with this adventure-packed quote-along.

Architects of Air. At the Long Center. This awesome luminarium returns to the West Lawn through Feb. 2. It's really neat, you should totally go. And send photos to KVUE. Thanks. (Go here for photos from last year).

Star of Texas Tattoo Revival. 2 p.m. at the Austin Convention Center (through Sunday). If you appreciate tattoos, art or just festivals in general, this is definitely the event for you.

Saturday, Jan. 25:

Austin Gorilla Run. 9 a.m. at Mueller Lake Park. Don't freak out if you see a bunch of gorillas running down the street. Perhaps the best part of this is that runners get to keep their gorilla costumes. Oh and it benefits the Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund.

KUTX's 1st Birthday Party. 7:30 p.m. at Bass Concert Hall. This fun event features performances by Iron & Wine and Neko Case. It's a hipster's dream Saturday night.

Dell Children's Storybook Gala. 6 p.m. at the Austin Convention Center. This event helps raise money for the Dell Children's Medical Center. This year's gala will be attended by more than 1,000 people and will feature dinner, dancing and live auctions.

Architects of Air. At the Long Center. This awesome luminarium returns to the West Lawn through Feb. 2. It's really neat, you should totally go. And send photos to KVUE. Thanks. (Go here for photos from last year).

Sunday, Jan. 26:

In the Mood: 1940s Big Band Revue. 3 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre. Jazz. Period costumes. The Andrews Sisters. Enough said.

Austin Family Magazine's 16th annual Summer Camp Fair. 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Palmer Events Center. This free event lets you shop for spring break and summer camps to send your kids to. There will be activities and entertainment, plus the future hope that you'll have a kid-free house for a whole week.

8th annual Jo's Chili Cook-Off. 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Jo's Coffee. Live music and chili at a coffee shop. Keeping Austin Weird (and delicious).

Architects of Air. At the Long Center. This awesome luminarium returns to the West Lawn through Feb. 2. It's really neat, you should totally go. And send photos to KVUE. Thanks. (Go here for photos from last year).
