Police look for 2 smash-and-grab suspects

AUSTIN -- Police are asking for the public's help identifying and locating two smash-and-grab thieves.

Two men ran into the National Pawn and Jewelry Shop on April 11 around 8:30 p.m. at 111 W. William Cannon Drive. They smashed a glass counter with a hammer, then grabbed several pieces of jewelry.

One of the men pointed a handgun at the store employees.

Both suspects are Hispanic. One suspect is in his mid-20s. He is between 5'4" and 5'6" and weighs about 130 lbs. The second suspect is around 5'7" and about 170 lbs. He wore a mask and gloves and was armed with a semi-automatic handgun.
