A new law requiring restaurants to post calorie content and other nutrition information is set to take effect next March.
The new law requires restaurants and similar retail food establishments that are part of a chain with 20 or more locations that offer substantially the same menu items to list calorie content information on menus and menu boards, including drive-through menu boards.
These rules will change how we view the food at restaurants, coffee shops, delis, movie theaters, bakeries, ice cream shops, and in vending machines with the goal of helping people make smarter food choices.
Now the FDA wants your feedback.
What would you like to see on menus?
Would anything help you make better choices?
Now’s your chance to weigh in.
