This year’s Tour de France could honor someone you know.
The Lance Armstrong Foundation just launched a virtual bike ride. You create a rider in honor of someone affected by cancer then people go online to cheer you on.
Then this summer, Lance Armstrong and other members of Team Radio Shack will wear “I ride for…” stickers bearing the name of a hero they’ve chosen.
The ride is on until May 23rd. I signed up to honor my mom, Hedy. If you haven’t seen her story here it is.
It’s a cool way to raise awareness about the need to find a cure for cancer.
