These are challenging times for a lot of families. A new Gallup poll found that is especially true when it comes to financial comfort.
Only 60 percent of Americans surveyed say they currently have enough money to live comfortably and 39 percent of Americans say they don’t have enough money to live comfortably.
That’s the lowest ever measured and Gallup has been conducting this same survey every April since 2002.
Perhaps more telling for those of you with children is that college graduates financial comfort has declined relatively little over the past decade. It was 86 percent in 2002 and 80 percent now according to the latest survey.
