Driving in Austin may be dangerous for your wallet.
Insurance.com just came out with a list of the most dangerous cities for drivers. It's based on the number of car insurance claims filed, we're talking everything from fender benders to vandalism and theft.
Austin was named the 8th most dangerous city for drivers with 32.3 percent of drivers reporting some type of incident in the last year. No other Texas city ranked in the top 20.
Baltimore topped the list, while Yuma, Arizona was the safest. Bigger cities like Los Angeles (26.3 percent) and Chicago (26.1 percent) came in at No. 116 and 122 respectively.
