If you bought a 2010 Mazda CX-9 you may want to stop using your heated seats for a while.

That’s because the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced today it is recalling 12,300 2010 Mazda CX-9 cars because there is a possibility the heat controlled seats may malfunction and cause a fire. Dealers will install an additional ground harness on the seat heater control system and replace the control circuit if needed all free of charge starting on or before March 9th.

You can call Mazda at 1-800-222-5500 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration at 1-888-327-4236 if you have questions.
