You’ll find little surprise in the latest insurance figures from insure.com which shows looked at which 2010 cars are the most and the least expensive to insure.

The most expensive 2010 model to insure is the Porsche Carrera GT2. Even with a good driving record, a 40-year-old man would pay on average $2,943.78 annually.

The least expensive car to insure is the Mazda Tribute I (2WD four-door SUV) which would average $1,070.25 a year.

"The least expensive vehicles are ones you have to drive and no one wants to. The most expensive list includes cars that people don't have to drive but want to," said Kim Hazelbaker, senior vice president of the Highway Loss Data Institute, a division of the Insurance Institute for Highway safety.
