The Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling about 2,700 infant carriers because the shoulder strap buckle may break.
The recall affects CYBEX 2.GO Infant Carriers sold from August 2009 to April 2010 at various baby stores and online. The company has received three reports of broken buckles but no injuries.
“CYBEX” is embroidered on the fabric covering the top of the head support. “2.GO” is printed on an orange tag near the head support. They were sold in the following colors: chili, indigo, purple and slate.
If you have one of these carriers you should stop using it and contact Regal Lager for a free replacement. You can do that by calling (866) 678-8940 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visiting the company’s web site.
