One of my favorite money saving moms, Kim Danger, founder of mommysavers.com has a new book with all kinds of money saving advice. The book is called “The Complete Book of Baby Bargains.”

I’ve done several stories with Kim over the years and her web site continues to be one of my favorites. Her newest book is full of terrific money-saving tips shared by moms across the country on her web site over the past several years.

So I thought I’d give you a taste of some of the terrific information you’ll find in it – particularly information about how to find a babysitter or nanny.

If you haven’t checked out these sites Kim suggests you start here:

Care.com –This site lets you search for babysitters, nannies, senior care, special needs help and pet care in your area. The free service lets you do limited searches. Pay $30 a month and you can get background check information, contact information and references.

SitterCity.com -- This site also lets you search for babysitters, nannies, pet care, tutoring even senior care help in your area. Again if you pay the fee you can get access to background checks and references. Costs vary between a free trial to $120 for a year’s membership.

Care4Hire.com -- On this site you can search for babysitters, pet care, tutors and housekeepers. Again paying for the service allows you access to background checks and references. This site offers a free 14-day trial all the way up to $70 a year.
