Check your refrigerator or freezer especially if you bought beef yesterday at H-E-B.
H-E-B is issuing a precautionary recall of some of its ground beef sold yesterday at the 16900 North RR 620 in Round Rock.
Only ground beef labeled as 80 percent lean ground chuck and 93 percent ground beef purchased between 6 and 9pm June 1st is affected.
A store spokesperson told me workers were cleaning a grinder and found a small piece of rubber in one of the packages. H-E-B thinks it has gotten most of the affected meat but wants consumers who purchased meat yesterday to double check.
