I do a lot of online shopping and have written before about some of the terrific web sites I check before making a purchase. However, I’ve found a few new ones to share. So enjoy!
My all time favorite coupon sites are Retail Me Not.com and Free Shipping.org. These sites are terrific places to look before you make an online purchase. Find coupon codes and ways to score free shipping at thousands of online retailers.
DOD Tracker.com – This stands for Deal of the Day Tracker. This site scours the web for the best deals of the day. From Amazon.com to Woot.com it keeps track of what’s being offered so that you don’t have to do the work.
There are lots of apps for your smart phone. These are some of the best.
Coupon Sherpa is one I’ve mentioned here before and is still one of my favorites. This site is worth checking out even if you don’t plan to add the phone app.
If you have the Android phone check out the free Google Shopper app. This allows you to scan the bar code of products in stores and see if you can find it anywhere cheaper either online or in another local store.
Red Laser is a similar application for people with the iPhone. It costs 99 cents.
Many of my friends are having babies, so here are some sites to help moms or moms to be save some money.
MommySavers.com – This site was created by a Minnesota mom who I've done some stories with in the past. She was looking for ways to save money once she decided to stay home with her children. You’ll find tips, coupons and forums where moms across the country share their saving strategies.
Clever Babies.com – This site posts all kinds of coupons for kid friendly web sites. You’ll also find out about sales.
Zulily.com – This site sends you daily deals from a bunch of sites. You save as much as 70 percent off retail. Learn about private sales for moms, babies and kid product. You do have to register your e-mail to receive the information.
