Many of you have been asking when you can start to print out the rebate forms for the latest appliance rebate program and now is the time.
The state set up the link Wednesday.
The Texas Comptroller’s office also added more money to the rebate program. That means instead of $10 million, there’s now $18.5 million dollars in available rebates. The money is from unused public sector energy efficiency funds transferred from the State Energy Program which are part of the federal stimulus program.
You can start buying appliances Monday, December 20th and after installation, mail in a completed rebate application form and a copy of the receipt to apply for the rebates. This is a first come first serve program so you’ll need to act fast.
