The USDA issued a nationwide recall tonight of 91,872 pounds of frozen chicken nuggets because they may contain foreign material.

They were manufactured by Perdue  Farms and sold at WalMart under the Great Value label. They were sold in 1 lb. 13 oz. bags. Each bag has the establishment number P-33944 as well as a case code of 89008 A0160 on the back of the packaging and a Best if used by date of June 9, 2011.

Customers began complaining they were finding pieces of blue plastic in the chicken. No one has been injured, but if you bought any of these bags you should not eat them and call the company at (877) 727-3447.

This is the second time in a month that a chicken product sold at Wal-Mart has been recalled after bits of plastic were found inside the food.
