Two of Fords newest and best selling cars are being recalled because the engines may overheat and catch fire.
The recall involves 73,320 2013 Ford Escapes and 15,833 Fusion SE and SEL models with the 1.6 liter turbocharged Ecoboost engines.
Ford is still trying to figure out how to solve the problem, but in the meantime is urging owners to contact their dealers as soon as possible. The dealerships will provide loaner cars at no charge until those cars can be fixed.
This is the fourth recall for the new Escape.
Ford says there have been no injuries with this latest recall, but the Associated Press says the company is aware of 12 reports of Escape fires and one for the Fusion.
Ford says the trouble starts when engines overheat and a message flashes.
