Food deals

On Thursday, June 7th the first 50 people in line at opening get a free summer salad at Noodles & Company. They’ll also get coupons for three friends to enjoy free salads by August 31st. Most locations open between 10am and 11am.

Like Brueggers Bagels on Facebook and get a free iced coffee through June 21st.

Download the new PF Chang’s app, register for the reward program and get free lettuce wraps.

Free recorded book

This is a great idea for a grandparent or parent who travels quite a bit. You can make a free recorded book for your child here. 

There are several selections you can get free or pay for some more popular titles.

Free car seat safety checks

Scott & White and Texans in Motion are teaming up again to provide free car seat safety checks this month. This is a terrific way to make sure you've installed your seat correctly. You'll want to call to reserve a spot ahead of time since space is limited. Thanks for the information Sherri!

The movie and a swim at Deep Eddy Pool is again this Saturday, June 9th. It costs $1 to $3 per person with the movies beginning at dusk. This week you can watch fan favorite Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory (G).

Regal Cinemas' 9-week movie festival, Summer Movie Express, returns to three Austin-area theaters this week.  The festival offers two G or PG rated movies each Tuesday and Wednesday morning through August 1, 2012.   The movies start at 10 a.m., but be sure to arrive early, as seating is first come, first served.  Admission is $1. Free outdoor Yoga

Yoga at Barton Springs, The Save Our Springs Alliance, and Yoga Yoga have teamed up to offer free outdoor yoga classes. The last class is Wednesday, June 6th noon to 1pm. Just go to Barton Springs the big tree at the back gate area off Robert E. Lee Drive.

Every Saturday morning in June, Yoga Yoga is also putting on yoga classes at Barton Springs. Classes start at 10am. You’ll want to bring a mat and a water bottle.

Free music

The Austin Civic Orchestra (ACO) presents its annual concert in the park this weekend.  Take your blanket to Zilker Hillside Theater on Friday, June 8 or Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 8 p.m. to enjoy these free performances.
