This week you'll find lots of great freebies -- from food to activities for your children. Enjoy!
Cheap Barbecue
Rudy's Barbecue is celebrating the 175th anniversary of Texas Independence Wednesday, March 2nd between 2pm and 4pm by offering a quarter pound of its brisket for just 32 cents. Why you ask? They guess that's what it would have cost in 1836. Then for every new follower of Rudy's on Facebook or Twitter the restaurant will donate 50 cents to Texas Children's Hospital. It is hoping to donate $10,000 and March 2nd is the last day.
Free breakfast
The Austin Rodeo is coming to town and to kick things off you can enjoy a free cowboy breakfast this Friday, March 4th at Auditorium Shores. You can also park free at the Palmer Events Center parking garage. Thanks to Heidi with Free Fun in Austin for the tips!
Free fries
Chick-Fil-A is celebrating free fry day by giving away free waffle fries Friday, March 4 from 2 to 4pm. All you have to do is mention you’re there to try the new Heinz dip and sqeeze.
