This week you'll find some terrific freebies on food and movies and even a few Father's Day specials. Enjoy!

Free kid movies

Since 1991 Regal cinemas has offered a family film festival. During the summer at 10am every Tuesday and Wednesday select G and PG movies are free. Tickets and seating are first come first served. The offer is good at Regal theaters across the country but they start here in Austin next Tuesday June 8th.You can find the schedule as well as the selected movies here.

Free baby gifts

Babies“R”Us is offering more than a dozen FREE deals during the “FREE FOR ALL” sale beginning Friday, June 4 through Thursday, June 17.*  Parents can stock up and save during this special promotion with FREE gifts with purchase on baby necessities, furniture, strollers and more.   Thanks Linda for the tip.

Free Doughnuts

Friday, June 4th is National Doughnut day. To help you celebrate Dunkin’ Donuts is offering a free donut with any beverage purchase.

And Krispy Kreme is offering one free doughnut to every customer no purchase necessary.

Here’s a list of participating stores.

Potential free golf club

Golfsmith is running a promotion just in time for the U.S. Open Golf Championship. They’re calling it “pick a pro and win”. Customers bet on one of three golfers to win the U.S. Open Golf Championship in Pebble Beach, Calif.— Retief Goosen, Sergio Garcia or Sean O’Hair— and have the price of one of three new TaylorMade drivers refunded in their player wins. You’ve got to buy the club before June 16 at any Golfsmith store across the country.

In March, the retailer refunded customers who bought one of three Callaway drivers after Phil Mickelson won a Master’s tournament.

Free photo book

This one expires today but it’s a really great idea if you’re struggling with what to do for Father’s Day. Shutterfly is offering a free 20-page 8x8 photo book if you use the code FREEM10 at checkout. These books are great keepsakes and a way to personalize any occasion.

Free music downloads

Amazon.com is offering a free music download of Sarah McLachlan’s Forgiveness.

Starbucks and iTunes have also teamed up to offer some 10 free songs. The offer is good through August 31st.

Free Entertainment savings book

These are the coupon books made for nearly every community that a lot of people keep in their cars. If you reserve a 2011 edition you can get a 2010 one free.

 Free iPod touch

Apple is offering a free iPod touch again for any college student or staff member who purchases a Mac computer or laptop. The offer is good through September 7th. They'll give you a rebate for the iPod. Go here to read all the terms.

Free museum admission for military families

Thanks to Susan for telling me about this terrific program called Blue Star Museums initiative. From Memorial through Labor Day military families can receive free admission to hundreds of museums across the country. You can find the complete list here.
