Free car seat safety check
Parents may not realize this but seven out of every 10 children are not buckled in properly to their child safety seat. In many cases it's the seat itself that is not installed properly.Williamson County Emergency Medical Services will conduct a car seat safety event for area residents on Thursday, January 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This one tomorrow is all booked, however you can call 943-1264 to get added to a waiting list and you'll be notified when the February program is set. The program, sponsored by Texans In Motion at Scott & White Health care encourages parents to have their child’s safety seat checked by a certified technician at this time.
If you missed the above check: There are all kinds of free car seat safety checks around the country and they happen on a regular basis. To find one near you go here.
