Kid Meal Deals

It’s always great when you can take the family out to eat and keep from having to pay for your children’s meals. If you haven’t checked out Kids Meal Deals.com you should. This site makes it easy to find restaurants in your area or any places you may vacation that offer free kid meals.

You can sort by any day or pick an actual day of the week that you’d like to eat out free and see what’s available.

Another great site to try is My Kids Eat Free. Here you select your state and your city and up pops the list of restaurants where kids can eat free.

Toys ‘R Us deal
Toys 'R Us is having a Hasbro Big Board Game Trade-In Event. Through Saturday, October 16, Toys“R”Us and Babies“R”Us stores nationwide will offer customers the chance to trade-in any used board game (in any condition!) in exchange for a 30% savings on a new Hasbro game during the Hasbro Big Board Game Trade-In Event. Thanks Linda for the tip.

Book Festival
The Texas Book Festival is Saturday, October 16 and Sunday, October 17 at the State Capitol. Former First Lady Laura Bush established this event as a way to recognize Texas authors and celebrate the love of reading. There will be more than 200 Texas and nationally recognized authors here and it's all free.

Travel Deals
Southwest Airlines is having another fall airfare sale. The holidays are excluded but you’ll find deals like one way tickets to Los Angeles and San Francisco for $130. And you can travel through February 15th.

They also have some pretty good ski vacation deals right now too.

Bogo breakfast deal
Mimi’s Café is having a buy one get one free breakfast deal through Friday. You will need to buy one breakfast and a beverage and print off this coupon.

Breast cancer fundraiser
