Give blood get free Blue Bell
The Blood and Tissue Center of Central Texas is teaming up with Blue Bell to help replenish the blood banks. So between now and August 14th at 3pm if you donate blood you can get a coupon for a free pint of Blue Bell ice cream.
Both Saturday, August 14th and Sunday, August 15th National Parks across the country are offering free admission.
Through today, Wednesday, August 11th you can use this coupon and buy one get one entrée free at TGIFridays.
Massage Envy is hosting a fund raising effort called Massage for the Cure which will help raise money for the Austin Komen for the Cure. You can make appointments starting Saturday, August 14th but the actual event is set for Tuesday, September 14th. Book an appointment for a $49 one-hour massage and Massage Envy will donate $15 per massage. You’ll find spas across the country taking part. To find one near you go here.
The 4th Annual Austin Ice Cream Festival is this Saturday, August 14th from 10am to 7pm at Waterloo Park. Kids 8 & under get in free, adults have to pay $5. You can pay $10 to see if you can become the ice cream eating champion. There will also be live music all day, a popsicle stick sculpture contest and a screaming contest. To learn more go here.

Southwest Airlines is having another three day sale. You’ll find airfare for as little as $49 one way. You have to purchase by Thursday, August 12th and it’s good for travel between September 7th and December 14th. There are blackout dates of November 23rd through November 30th.
