Nissan is the latest car manufacturer to recall cars for problems with side airbags.
The company is recalling certain 2003 to 2005 Infiniti Q45 vehicles because the wiring connector for the seat mounted airbag may have issues which cause the side air bags not to deploy.
The company plans to notify owners starting March 12th. If you have questions you can call 1-800-647-7261.
According to the company this is a problem first discovered in 2009 and is believed to have affected 5,777 vehicles. Up to this point the manufacturer believes most of the cars have been fixed, but that there may be 1,349 vehicles that still have this issue and need to be repaired.
This is the fourth car manufacturer to recall cars because of side air bag issues in the past two weeks.
