What Goes Down on The Bachelor….Sometimes Stays Down

This was a very physical episode of The Bachelor. I guess Sean was afraid that these sweet little girls might be afraid to get their hands dirty. So how better to determine who can handle a little necessary roughness than to have them battle it out like women…roller derby women?! Unfortunately the plan failed miserably when all the ladies started falling down and busting their faces on the pavement.   I’m sure Amanda thought that almost breaking her jaw might at least earn her a rose, but apparently Sean is looking for a lady who can land on her feet not her face.

The only person who wasn’t getting physical this week was Selma. Apparently her mother would not approve of her kissing a man in public…sooo what exactly is she doing on this show? Rocking climbing and snuggling is what she’s doing...and doing it well. Sean took his little princess out into the desert to see if she could handle a big rock before even thinking about putting one on her finger. She handled herself surprisingly well. Sean was so impressed that he took her to a trailer park for dinner. Granted they were cute and stylish, but not exactly the romantic dinner she was hoping for. Instead they snuggled by the fire and played a little game called, “I want to kiss you…no I want to kiss you more”, but no one ever got any kisses. This relationship is going to be interesting. She may have to break her no kissing on camera rule if she wants to make it to the end.

One girl who is determined to make it to the end is Miss Tierra. She doesn’t seem to care how many temper tantrums it takes…she is going to WIN! Sometimes I wish the producers would just show the Bachelor the behind-the-scenes footage of these nut jobs.   There has never been a case where all the girls hated someone in the house and they turned out to be an angel.   Now Vienna managed to WIN her season…but we all know how horribly that turned out. Take heed Sean…you may be headed toward the same fate!

Sadly Amanda was not the only “pretty woman” who went home without a rose this week. Leslie failed to create a spark with Sean. She did however manage to get the rock star treatment on Rodeo Drive and walked away with some pretty nice diamond earrings.  So I’d say all and all she got a pretty good deal…unlike Amanda who left with a bruised chin and a bruised ego.

Tune in next week to see if Brittany Spears’ trashy older sister Daniella holds on for another week! My bet…she’s the next to go!
