The Bachelor - Survivor Edition

I think I would have given up on Sean at this point. I understand that he’s “outdoorsy” but seriously how much time does he think he and his future wife are going spend scaling cliffs and submerging themselves in ice water? Is he trying to see how many of these women will break before the final rose? These aren’t mountain women. If you wanted some rugged chick to bathe in the river and shoot deer with, you should have selected a different crop of ladies. These are pretty little things with manicures and MAC makeup. I can’t imagine that very many of these women will ever want to do these kinds of things again. So I hope Sean is realistic about the lengths these women will go to after they have a ring on their finger.

Tierra the “Tierrorist” strikes again this week with her typical over the top drama. I know she was cold and I don’t necessarily doubt that she had a bit of a panic attack or something, but I think that she over played it for sure this time to get attention and it’s really really getting old. I think Sean should have peed on Tierra to warm her up instead of that desk drawer.   Maybe that would be enough to finally push her off the deep end and end our misery. It’s time for her to go.

There were several surprising exits this week. Poor Sarah poured her heart out to Sean. Just watching her show him all of those family photos was heart breaking. I think it was obvious that he wasn’t feeling it. I think her talking about him meeting her family really woke him up and made him see that this was all getting very real. In order to avoid hurting her even more, Sean took her aside after the group date and let her know that the feelings just weren’t there. Rather than have her sit through another rose ceremony, he let her say her goodbyes and go quietly into the night.

I was most surprised to see Selma leave. I’m sad to see her go. I think she had one of the best personalities on the show and I think she’d still be around if she could have dragged Sean into a closet and showed him some lip a little sooner. Daniella on the other hand never had a chance. I definitely didn’t see a spark there. She was kind of “the one that was not like the others”.

Next week the ladies are off to the Virgin Islands to heat things up and it’s about time. I was freezing just watching the last two episodes. Hopefully they will all survive diving with sharks or whatever fun-filled adventures Sean has planned.
